Crypto Country Guide is general information. It is not legal advice, tax advice or investment advice, and it does not take your personal situation into account.

No advice

We explain what official sources say. We do not tell you what to do with your crypto, and nothing here is an offer or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Before you take a decision that matters, check it with the official source and, where useful, with a qualified lawyer or tax adviser in your country.

Accuracy and changes

We take care to use current official sources, and every page shows when it was last reviewed. Even so, laws, rates, thresholds and deadlines change, sometimes quickly, and some of the countries we cover have reforms that are not yet law. A page can be out of date, and we may have misread a source. We cannot guarantee that the information is complete or correct.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that results from using this guide or from relying on it. You use the information at your own risk.

We link to official websites so you can check what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Crypto-assets can lose value quickly and some providers are not supervised. Several regulators warn about this, and we summarize those warnings on the country pages.

Independence

We have no affiliate links and no commercial relationship with any provider that we mention. See About this guide.
